Exciting news today everyone. Incase I have not had a chance to tell you yet (which seems unlikely considering the number of people that I have informed) Spaceship One captured the Ansari X prize today at about 9:45 mountain time. Unlike last weeks flight, pilot brian binnie managed to keep the spacecraft on a smooth and uneventful trip up to and slightly above 100 km's in elevation.
